The Warrin’ Wrecking Dolls flat track roller derby league is looking for skaters, referees, volunteers, and non-skating positions (NSOs)
for their 2018 season. (Skaters, refs and NSOs must be at least 18 years of age.)
Regular practices are held twice weekly at Sharp's Russell Roller Rink, Tuesday nights from 6:30pm - 8:30pm and Sunday evenings from 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm. . This is a great place to introduce yourself to the league and to see what we're about. We suggest contacting the league before attending a regular practice so we know to expect you. This will prepare us to have someone off track to meet with you and give you a proper introduction to the sport of roller derby.
On the first Tuesday of each month, (January-May) one hour prior to our regular practice, we also hold a Open Recruitment Night for those just learning to skate, or that would like more practice working on the basics and technical skills of skating. The class is open to skaters or refs interested in joining the league. Your first two classes are free and we provide all protective gear and rental skates. The cost for the class after your free classes is $5.
PLEASE ARRIVE 15 MINUTES PRIOR TO ALL CLASSES/PRACTICES TO ALLOW TIME TO GEAR UP.
Practice Hours January - August:
